VHP, V-PHP, HPV

VHP, or Vapourised Hydrogen Peroxide, is a powerful sterilisation method widely used in
healthcare, pharmaceutical, and laboratory environments. It is an advanced
decontamination technique that effectively eliminates bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores
from surfaces and enclosed spaces.

VHP works by converting 30-35% liquid hydrogen peroxide into a vapour, which is then
distributed throughout the target area. The vapour penetrates hard-to-reach areas and
effectively disinfects without leaving toxic residues. Once the sterilisation process is
complete, the vapour aerates resulting in a residue-free decontaminated area. Alongside
this, VHP also breaks down into byproducts of water & oxygen meaning that this is an
environmentally friendly sterilisation method.

The primary applications of VHP include sterilising hospital rooms, cleanrooms, biosafety
cabinets and medical devices. It is preferred over traditional disinfection methods
because of its ability to achieve a high level of sterilisation without causing damage to
sensitive equipment.

As a non-toxic and efficient sterilisation method, Vapourised Hydrogen Peroxide plays a
crucial role in maintaining hygiene standards in critical environments, ensuring the safety
of patients, researchers and healthcare professionals.
